I have kept it the same but have now added headings going down the opposite side to the artist. I might be changing the headings because I think they look borring and tacky.

Contents Page design 1

This is my first draft of my contents page, I took the idea from the V magazine where the artist is to one side and having the Contents title split up going down. I also made it look like there was a spot light over the artist by adding black.

Front cover design 2

I have now added a red sqaure and moved the title RUDE B on it, a bit like the Q magazine title. I have also zoomed the photo up close so it gave me more room to put my headlines on and so you could see more of the photo. I have also added a barcode and a date to the magazine.

My Target Audience Questionnaire

This is my questionnaire which I came up with, to help me find out what I should put in my music magazine and what people want to read in it. I found out most of the people listened to RnB and would want to know about the music chart and news on artists. So this is helping me know what to write about in my article. I also found out all the people I asked thought RUDE B! was the best name that I came up with, so I am calling my music magazine RUDE B! Another thing they wanted was the colour scheme to be red/black and white, but this may change if I don't like the look of it or it doesn't go.

My Idea

My idea for my music magazine is going to be a glossy magazine. It is going to be based on RnB music genre and this is because it is very popular and well known. There has been new artists and lots of news that I could write about in my magazine. I will use well known artists such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, Eminem, Beyonce, Labrinth and Tinnie Tempah. This is because they are popular and all have new music out. I want my magazine to have bright colours so it doesn’t look dull and boring but not too much in your face, I want it to be noticed. For my main image on the front cover will be a female, this is because it will both attract female and men to look at the magazine. My ideas for the name of my music magazine are; FLASH, HITZ, RnB, Rewind, and LIVE, RUDE B! I want my music magazine to target students 16-18 or above, this is because these artists I have chosen, target there audience to the younger generation.
